We take bruising or injuries in babies and infants who are not crawling, cruising or walking (non-mobile) seriously.
A procedure has been developed detailing how professionals must respond to any case of bruising or injury in a non mobile child which brings together numerous agencies and professionals that should be involved.
Everyone is expected to use these procedures, so if your child is discovered to have a bruise or injury and is non mobile, they will be followed without exception. We want to make sure that all babies and children are kept safe in Wigan.
